Police chasing Gaijin

By a lack of real crooks to chase, Tokyo police tend to question ownerships rights of foreigners (gaijin) riding a bicycle. (indeed, like we do in the Netherlands with Morrocan youngsters on ladies bikes ;-). During the introduction at the american university I was strongly recommended to have my bicycle registered to avoid trouble. There are many students who, stripped of their bicycle, ended in jail.
