Studying is hard labour

It is time to talk a stereotype about Japanese and their famous labour ethics. They work all day. That is true in the sense that they spend a lot of time in the office. It occurs that nobody dares to go home before the boss has left. It makes days very long. In the office of Takenaka Netherlands the highest Japanese manager once explicitly permitted his compatriot employers to leave the office earlier than himself. If not they would stay in the office every day untill after 9 pm. No risk of boredom though. There were newspapers and cabinets full of Japanese novels. And taking a nap during the day wasn't much of a problem either. Or falling asleep during a dinner, it happened. Or making a soft landing in Neverland while in a meeting... The student in the picture is a talent. The library is a great place for it, so quiet. But even in the canteen, always bustling with noisy people it apparantly is possible.
And sorry to say, it is Japanese students only.
